We were fortunate to buy fruit from the same vineyard that we have been sourcing Zinfandel from for the last four years. It was a short crop in general but we were fortunate to benefit from this harvest. This medium bodied, well balanced wine exhibits the best varietal qualities of Dry Creek Zinfandel. The balance between fruit flavors, tannin and acid makes this vintage truly enjoyable. Garnet colored in your glass, the aromas are pure fruit with hints of spice and wood. Raspberries, plum and cherry (cola) are initial flavors with nuances of fig leading to a spicy finish. This is truly a Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel. We are proud of this well balanced vintage.
Our award winning Zinfandel pairs well with all types of foods. Anything from eggplant Parmiggiano to Barbecue. This wine is drinkable now and will age quite well.
