We had been farming award winning Cabernet Sauvignon since 2004. Our hillside vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley sits atop rocky medium clay and soil to support our vines and production of this variety of grape. Peter Wellington has been producing wines with our Cabernet since before 2004. We started making wines under our family label in 2009. The 2013 Cabernet is the third vintage of Estate Cabernet from this particular vineyard and a great example of exceptional wine made by Peter.
We decided to pull some of this vintage from our library and share with you. If you have been collecting our Cabernet over the years, this is not one to miss.
